Apart from my Mk1 VW Golf, one of my other projects is a 1988 Honda Accord CA (aka 3rd generation, or "3Gee"). It's a great car and in remarkably good condition for its age.
When I bought the car it came with the original Honda log book, warranty information, and manual. So when I came accross this 1989 brochure on eBay for only $25, I thought I'd add to my little archive and share it here.
I like old promitional material. There's just something about the way they wrote about cars in the 80's and 90's - short but verbose paragraphs, swamping potential drivers of such vehicles with flattery, meaningless taglines ("Progress with Distinction"?).
The various selling points are interesting too. Who would've thought that in 1989 "Fully carpetted througout" was still worth mentioning.

Get ready for a lot of period-appropriate verbose descriptions.

Why a family sedan in a farmer's field? Maybe the photographer just pre-empted the SUV craze.

It would've taken a little effort to find a church like this here in Australia. I also like how they aligned the wheels perfectly for this shot.

For anyone wondering, this graphc design style is called "Utopia Scholastic".

I'm still not entirely sure what an "Accomplished Driver" is exactly.

I can confim they put a lot of effort into the paint being chip and scratch resistant...but not Australian sun resistant.

I don't understand the ordering of the Major Features bullet points.
Personally, I would've put 'Electric Sunroof' and 'Fuel Injection' above 'Fully carpeted throughout', but that's just me.
